Does Compute – Chap. 6, Act 4, Strip 118

IT’S THE MOST SHOCKING SWERVE EVER! Or as close as makes no difference.

But let’s not dwell on it, for the moment, and instead concentrate on tangential stuff. >_>
You’ll notice that the climax is near, as can be seen by how focused the characters’ dialogue is. At no earlier point in the plot would the Professor have left the paperbag on Snuka’s head entirely uncommented upon. That’s not to say he wouldn’t have approved of it, for a number of reasons, but definitely not tacitly.

And there’s a thing that would have been even less likely to go uncommented at any earlier point. Look at how the Professor says that Biff has apparently succeeded. Not the slightest hint of increduility, let alone total flabbergastedness. He accepts the fact, one of the most astounding ones in human history, on mere circumstantial evidence. Only the fact that the climactic confrontation with the villain is just around the corner…or beyond the door, rather…could make the Professor a word momentous calmly speak.
There’s another possibility, of course – given the fact’s shocking nature, it’s possible it hasn’t even fully registered with the Professor yet, and that he’ll suddenly break down in utter shock and confusion at some later, random moment. ._.

More on Thurs…uh, Monday!
