Fiddler on the loose – Chap. 5, Act 2, Strip 28

Bad Mopey. Bad, bad. You aren’t the first person to burn down Rome, admittedly, but yours is definitely one of the more frivolous reasons. Couldn’t you have distracted your pursuers with something else? An anime heroine would have used her panties, but, really, anything would have been better than incendiariy grenades. Didn’t you realize how flammable a renaissance town is? Totally unnecessary collateral damage. Rome can’t be rebuilt in a day, you know.

And no, the radio in panel three is not anachronistic. They definitely had wireless sets in 16th century castles. The proof? The total absence of wires in the archeological record for that period. ._.

More on Thursday.
