Plaque of snakes – Chap. 6, Act 3, Strip 4

That was very smart from those design award people, adding that part about no spies or saboteurs being in the crate. You know how paranoid secret organization hiding out on mysterious islands in the middle of the Pacific ocean can get – they see a suspiciously large crate with airholes, and instead of being happy of winning an unexpected design award (they can’t remember making any submission to), they’ll immediately assume the worst!

Well…and on the level beyond the utterly implausible one, it was still pretty smart from Mopey & Co. to think up that ruse with the postcard design award. Everybody knows that those awards are given out completely at random, without any reference to actual artistic value – so in that regard it would be perfectly possible for a secret organization hiding out on mysterious islands in the middle of the Pacific ocean to win one, even for a rather unoriginal postcard they designed years ago.

…I mean, I’m not bitter, or anything. Just pointing out. >_>

More on Thurs…uh, Monday!
