Shrug it off. – Chap. 5, Act 3, Strip 15

Well, I guess if you can agree to disagree, you can also communicate a lack of communication.

But even with Snuka’s eye color and mental language having changed unaccountably, there are things that she can still rely on, like the Professor being understanding and supportive. He surely expected better* from her reconaissance mission, especially since she was gone the whole night – but he won’t let his disappointment show. I wonder why Snuka’s still so nervous and out of it over it all, then – she should know him better, shouldn’t she? I mean, it’s not like she’s seeing him for the first time, or anything, right?

By the way, her text isn’t really meant to mean anything – it’s just normal English text set in a Japanese font. It should really only be gibberish – and if it isn’t, it’s just a coincidence. If it just so happens to say something like “Dishonor on you, dishonor on your family, dishonor on your cow” in any language, it’s an incredible coincidence, and I’m deeply sorry. ._.

* As you can see, I used the “epectation” sound effect ten times, that’s five times above average, indicating great expectations.

More on Thursday.
