Tubular yells – Chap. 6, Act 4, Strip 58

Meanwhile, back at the lab…the Professor is trying to help Snuka with his little reverse-mind-control problem.

For being mind-controlled by a raging monster is definitely not normal. Being mind-controlled by raging hormones might be within the parameters of normalcy at Snuka’s age, but an actual titanic monster? That’s a bit too much.

Anyway, the Professor is pretty sure he’ll be able to help Snuka. Since we recently were on the issue of Biff’s only positive trait, if the Professor has only one negative trait, it would be this one. Optimism, I mean. >_> Much like Biff’s perserverance, it looks like a positive trait taken by itself, but in context of the actual application…
And of course it would be his only negative trait only if you don’t count his willingness to support the violent imperialistic goals of a deranged villain as a negative trait. Because science! Your mileage might vary.

However that may be, his optimism proves unfounded here. Something is clearly going wrong…we can deduce that not only from his comment and the swelling sound effect, but from the very fact that the camera was focused on the display at all. The camera would never focus on that sort of boring science stuff unless something was going seriously wrong.

As for the reasons for the failure, I blame the potato. A potato is probably just a little bit too inprecise an analogy for Snuka’s mind to make data gained from experimenting with one truly representative. I think Snuka’s mind is more like a pommegrenade. ._.

More on Thurs…uh, Monday!
