Yeah, I’m still working on that balancing thing. It’s not going perfectly well, but I’m getting there. I admit that this pairing would-be, perhaps, not absolutely entirely not-gay…but it’s gotta count for something that Maru-maru made Gregory dress up like a geisha, at least.
No, actually… I don’t think there’s any salvaging this one. The whole thing is just one big moral failure on the part of Marumaru. Who, however, is a scruffy ronin, so moral failures aren’t really out-of-character for somebody like him.
And, fortunately, I don’t have to do any sort of follow-up to this. So let’s stick to the positive aspects of this: it deals with Gregory-kun and Marumaru-san in one go, saving me the trouble of finding separate romantic partners for them. And it gives Gregory the opportunity to have some hair again, for a change. And it’s a very good movie they’re watching. As for everything else about this strip, let’s better just try to forget it before there’s any temptation to consider the implications…
