It’s Hip to be Rectangular Cuboid – Chapter 8, Act 3, Strip 101

So here the first actual fact about the aftermath of the Chococlataclism (aka the Lathosplosion) are finally established: 8-Dork-8’s underwater space station has survived it, apparently undamaged.

A fact of somewhat limited value, since we never actually knew where it is precisely located. It seems to be located somewhere in George Geekish’s fish tank at home, but that’s clearly only an illusion. George Geekish has far too much professional pride to try to create such a signature shot by just dropping a plastic toy into his fish tank at home. And he’s simply not butterfingered enough to then accidentally drop his cellphone in, resulting in a nice shot – but one which ended up far more expensive than originally envisioned. No, no…George Geekish definitely created this some other way, and any resemblance to his fish tank are merely coincidental. This was probably shot on location underwater in some coastal area, at high cost, and those fish are actually huge…and the sky only coincidentally looked like a ceiling that day. A weird weather effect. Such things happen.

So anyway, that fact is out. But I’ve made sure to prevent any other facts from leaking – the monitors in 8-Dork-8’s control room are showing only static, and 8-Dork-8 himself has gone through with his resolution to get into better shape. The shape is that of a rectangular cuboid, and it’s better because he isn’t talking anymore. >_> So no information flowing from him, but that’s simply the price of no annoyance flowing…

Many more facts on Thursday, though.
