Mopey disapproves of the love letter Akane’s written – very strongly so. And Mopey’s highly developed sense for the romantic can be utterly relied on, so that’s a good sign. She wouldn’t hate the letter that viscerally if it wasn’t clearly conveying a plausible message of romantic affliction. Only true or fake-but-nearly-as-good-as-true affection could cause her to nearly gag like that.
Well, perhaps not only that, since Akane’s graciously included visual aids are apparently also capable of bringing Mopey close to gagging. In this case, it’s more with a combination of acute embarrassment, second-hand embarrassment, third-party embarrassment and a bit of unadmitted arousal. A potent combination, indeed.
