With a glint and a smirk – Chap. 4, Act 2, Strip 33

Well, all of our friends declared themselves incapable of solving last week’s sudden problem, and under extremely flimsy pretexts – so it was inevitable that somebody else would show up to solve it, and with an almost condescending lack of effort. It’s the stuff heroes are made of: pure plot contrivance.

I do think, however, that Mopey displays an insufficient level of awe. The “douchebag” think might be correct, technically, but it doesn’t really fit the intended mood of the scene. Perhaps she didn’t read the script thoroughly enough.
