Rather than outtakes, now we’re on to deleted scenes – only virtually produced scenes which metaphorically hit a non-existent cutting room floor. And with good cause, probably?

And I really don’t know whether I should pat me on the back for valiantly resisting making this particular stupid pun within the plot…when I still ended up publishing it in this form. Well, perhaps it justifies a very light pat…

And, yeah…in ancient Rome, there was a type of gladiator referred to as a “scissor”. Gladiators of the same type were rarely made to fight each other, but if it had happened…you would have had a pair of scissors. And the ancient Romans wouldn’t even have realized how funny that is, because they didn’t speak English. “Par scissoribus” isn’t particularly funny, until you use it as a punchline in a complicated gladiator joke…

Oh, well. I’m sorry, yet kinda not. =P
