Saving the best for last, here’s Kippu-kun’s reaction to the most shocking defeat in history. As was to be expected, he wasn’t affected deeply.
He was a cat before the defeat, he still is a cat after the defeat…so it’s obvious that nothing really tragic happened. Some people might not be able to live with themselves after this sort of humiliation…but if you are a cat? How could somebody not live with being a cat? It’s the best!
In comparison to the greatness of felinity, victory and defeat are minor considerations…only proper for non-cats/servants. Let them worry about that, and revel in being a cat.

XD Quite possible. I’ve never actually owned a cat, so all I know about their behavior is seceond-hand, and without any attempt at serious study. I just kinda thought cat’s would wag their tail when they’re happy. I’ve heard that’s what dogs do. Sorry! I owned a canary once, but that experience wasn’t of any help here.

Actually I was thinking of the commonly held Ork view of warfare in the Warhammer 40K universe: “Orkses is never defeated in battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don’t count. If we runs for it we don’t die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!” XD
