I could have carried on for a long time with parading past and potential deus-ex-machina candidates and giving reasons for their unavailability. But it was time to move on, I think – the main point is made: nobody’s coming, you’re on your own. And, judging by Biff’s reaction, the stark reality must have started to sink in: With our heroes all out of ideas, and absolutely nobody coming to their assistance, Latho’s conquest of Earth/reality-as-a-whole continues unabated and on pace.
By this point, even I am no longer sure whether those censorship bars are part of reality as such or covering up some reality for the protection over viewers’ sensibilities. ._. Fortunately, the nature of the medium doesn’t require me to make a clear determination in that regard, so I’ll just leave it vague. =P
Biff’s statement about the sugar content of the outer planetary core would seem to imply the censorship bars are physical reality. While Snuka’s remark would imply that the actual, physical reality is…uh…well…>_> Uh, let’s just say it implies the same…the “mine” in his statement could be referring to…uh, and iron mine. Right, since Biff mentioned iron. Snuka is concerned about the size of his iron mine, because the smaller the mine, the smaller the profits*. Right. >_>
More on Monday.
* Actually not necessarily, but let’s not get into economics.
Welp.
Good game everyone. But I think that’s probably it for this continuity. The good news is that B-Movies are so cheap they can just start over with a new cast and a new setting!
That is unless something crazy happens like a heroic last minute sacrifice or something.
Well, I was planning to go with something crazy happening…but now that you’ve said it, starting over from scratch also sounds kinda tempting. XD
Snuka is not confident in the size of his censor bar? He should talk to the director about this.
Speaking to the director would only ruin his confidence in his acting ability on top of everything else, though. XD
