Now, with regards to this strip there isn’t actually a lot I could add to what I already said in the guise of the narrator.
The couple that re-appeared after such a long absence is slipping back into obscurity again, as the object of their astonishment is revealed: The survival of the solar system, including Earth, and the fact that Earth harbors a Japan, and that said Japan has at least one (1) house in it. How that couple noticed all of that at a glance upon exiting the forest kinda beats me, but…
And, yeah, this is a specific house – but since it shows up only once, I really couldn’t be bothered to create a model that more than roughly resembles the canonical version. And, really, I’m okay with that. It sounds like a very George Geekishish thing to do, so it’s covered.
