And that’s it! With this end credits sequence, this chapter is officially concluded – thanks a lot for sticking around!
The next few weeks will be devoted to a “post-credits sequence” featuring various “out-takes” and other bits, odds, ends and pieces.
Whereas a fully new chapter will start on Feb. 12th, 2024 – if everything goes as planned.
More on Thursday.
Well, you finished 8 chapters. That’s a big one. Congratulations!
I wonder, what’s next? Because we already had a lot of themes normally covered by B-movies. We had three horror stories (but no vampires), we had several alien invaders (but didn’t go to space itself), we traveled in time (but not to the future), got under the sea, and even had nazis and isekai. Based on that I’m making a 90,99% accurate prediction, that the next story is going to be about…
Vampires from the future IN SPACE!
…you misspelled “SPAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!”
Close, but no cigar.
…Well, actually not all that close, but still no cigar. But smoking is bad for your health, anyway, so…
Technically the team did go to space, by the way, just not interstellar space. By Scifi standards, sending a manned mission to Uranus hardly counts as a trip to space, but for NASA it would be a considerably achievement even today. And for SpaceX, as well, although I wouldn’t be surprised if Elon Musk had already set a near-future target date for such a trip in some interview or Twitter post. >_>
And I agree that vampires are the most obviously missing classic movie monsters (aside from a short appearance by Dr. van Helsing as a vampire at some point)…and I have played around with plot ideas for a vampire movie, but without much success. It’s probably because there already have been so many vampire parodies and re-imaginings that it’s kinda hard to come up with something that hasn’t already been done before.
So, no vampires in space this time around, I’m afraid. ^_^;
…including a blooper reel on wardrobe malfunctions? XD
Come on, this chapter already continued so much gratuitous nudity a wardrobe malfunction would have been hardly noteworthy. XD The Halloween episode, in particular, had almost as much fanservice as any episode of Free! XD
