I think I should restrict myself to a short-ish comment today, given how the strip itself was already slightly on the verbose side. So I’ll just mention that this is one of the older strips that already belonged to the first draft of the chapter, and originally immediately followed the ‘Mexican bandido’ one – the last panel would probaly have made more sense in that context. And the other thing I’ll mention – yes, that is in fact one of Lix’ less complicated plans. It’s not like he couldn’t think in a straight line – but in his case it’s a straight line in a 26-dimensional space. More on Thursday.
