This is the most shocking swerve ever! The huge crate allegedely containing a design award didn’t contain any design award at all, but actually our heroes! Nobody could possibly have seen that coming!
…well, I guess blind people couldn’t have seen it coming, and extremely near-sighted people would have noticed it kinda latish only. Erm. >_>
Anyway, the gang is all here! Fortunately, Mopey’s exposition-instinct is well developed, so she organized for a convenient little roll call to get the news out. And she made it all appear entirely natural and not forced.
…well, I guess it would qualify as natural in the case of somebody suffering from a strange compulsion to regularly say out loud who happens to be around them at some given moment. There’s probably even a (long) Latin name for that, and all that. Erm. >_>
