Impossible Not To Offend Someone – Chapter 8, Act 3, Strip 94

As you can see, Latho is still enjoying his meal, quite a lot so, in fact. Isn’t it refreshing to see that even a being that has lived for such an incredibly long span of time can still have experiences that exceed anything he had known before? Perhaps that comforting thought is what this is about.

As for Gandhi, I’m not trying to insert myself into the discussions regarding legitimate and illegitimate criticism of his live and actions – but, logically, if there were a race of people who need to consume violence to sustain themselves, it’s a safe bet they wouldn’t be terribly fond of the man’s ideas.

The mood shifts a bit in the last few panels, though…obviously foreshadowing a turn of events that probably is entirely predictable…

More on Monday.

  1. There is Gandhi. And then there is Nuclear Gandhi. I think Latho would a approve the latter.

  2. It’s a B-Movie. There’s only enough budget for 1, MAYBE 2 surprise-plot twists and this movie has already used them all up.

    1. Well, they can always recycle a surprise twist from some earlier movie. One of the advantages of always sticking with the same actors. XD
