It’s the most shocking swerve ever!!!
Wait, no, actually it isn’t. But it sure is a mood swing. A welcome one, too, since the mood was rather somber just an episode ago. Singing and bright-colored clothing is a definite improvement, in that regard, isn’t it?
As for the giant spiders in this part of the forest…well, I never said they were evil, did I? You don’t have to be a bad person, just because you’re a spider, after all. And as for “giant”…well, it’s a matter of perspective. Who knows who assigned that moniker to them? Might have been some ant or mite, for example.
In plot terms, the basics are: The party was attacked…well, approached…by the giant…well, relatively…spiders…well, spider…of the Ever, evergreenest Forest, but saved…well, flabber-gasted…by the sudden appearance of a very mysterious figure. More mysterious to some than to others, of course.
More on Thurs…uh, Monday.
Now that was a very nice mash up of Lucas the Spider and Suzanne Vega. Also, I’m guessing that’s the slightly off-brand, budget version of Tom Bombadil you’d find at Aldi or Lidl…
I don’t think Aldi or Lidl would stoop so low, this is more like the Dollar Store version of Tom Bombadil…where the Chinese company that makes the official toy also produces a recolored, renamed version on the sly, and distributes it through…well, anyone who’s willing to distribute it. Sometimes that produces real gems, actually.
