Stand to reason – Chap. 5, Act 2, Strip 18

Chiswick! Fresh horses!

Yeah, it took them a while to figure it out, but it’s really the only possible explanation. You need evidence? Well, just look at how long it took them to figure it out. Do you think it would have taken them that long if it was not the only possible explanation? I don’t think so. That’s a very convincing argument. I’m convinced. We took a non-representative poll of single-person households in Marrakesh, and 9 out of 10 respondents answered the question. Case closed. ._.

And it was obvious, anyway, that Dr. Dutchman Fu’s plan had something to do with the Cesare Borgia and the assassination of Pope Alexander VI – I mean, it’s 1503, somewhere in Italy, the Borgia crest is lying around, what else could it be? Note to self: If I ever manage to invent a time machine and travel back in time to change history (don’t think for a minute that I wouldn’t), I’ll have to select a important turning point which is very close in space and time to a second, even more important turning point. That way, all would-be interferrence will be directed at the wrong event. Brilliant! I’m a genius. Now I’ll just have to figure out that flux-compensator thing.

Far-fetched? You wish. Justin Bieber has already announced that he is going to retire from music, without clearly ruling out running for the papacy. It’s already beginning. ._.

Find out on Thursday.
