I don’t usually do specials for Valentine’s day, but it just lined up very conveniently this year, since I needed to work in a little bit of Mopey/Gregory romance at about this juncture, anyway.
And, yes, what’s supposed to be going on in the last panel is an actual display of some degree of kind feelings on Mopey’s part. She isn’t proud of it, but it happens. Even the best can’t maintain a perfect record of resentment and disdain toward everyone at all times, and Mopey’s is still quite impressive at above 98%.
(Good thing Snuka is distracted by the sorry state of his hands, the shock of seeing Mopey like that would have been profuound.)
