This comic pretty much speaks for itself really. My only real question is, given the contract negotiation difficulties during the onsen part, is this Lee doing a Mopey stunt double using that technique where you shoot the same scene twice with the actor in 2 different roles and then blend them together?
Or did Nolan actually schill out for Mopey fan-service?
Theda Barer, the actress usually playing Mopey, plays the demon in that scene, opposite Mopey being played by Lee. Theda wouldn’t usually have agreed to this scene, and wouldn’t have been required to shoot it by her contract…but getting the opportunity to put make-up and fake boobs on Lee provided such a strong enticement that she set her objections aside.
I mean, Lee is like a younger brother to Theda! And she has read enough manga to know that any good bigger sister’s ultimate achievement lies in making her younger brother crossdress… XD
Speaking as a younger brother with an older sister, that logic makes distressingly too much sense.
