If I Don’t Fits, I Still Sits – Chapter 7, Act 3, Strip 10

I can assure you that the red dotted line would be clearly visible in the colored version of this strip, it’s just the monochromatic flashback effect spoiling it. ^_^;

Of course that would be easy to change, but why bother? The line is just running randomly through generic fantasy map-scape, it’s actually completely unimportant where it is precisely. The only important take-away is: it was a long, winding, and arduous journey. You could even call it epic, if it were written better. >_>

Necessarily, it was a long journey not only in terms of space and time, but also in terms of personal growth for K’ip and Si’ri. That’s a mechanism that applies to narrations and RPGs in the same manner, so naturally applies here. (Sometimes it might even apply in real life, but I wouldn’t count on it.)

Obviously, you’ll have to take my word for it, as far as Si’ri’s growth is concerned. She’s too tiny and glowy to really tell.

By contrast, K’ip physical growth is quite obvious and undeniable. Also quick, thanks to feline DNA. As for his mental growth…well, he’s become as mature as he’ll ever be. En’ilef are kinda cats, after all, so you really shouldn’t expect them to ever fully grow up. Case in point, he still prefers the box the treasure came in to the treasure itself, and will probably do so for the rest of his life.

More on Thurs…uh, Monday.
